Busy at work recently, working as a store builder. Working with my friend and friends' friends. 12 people all together at 4 places. Damm one of them is the campus superstar from Woodland Ring Sec, the rest I known most of them.
I was working at Ang Moh Kio with my group and also stayed there overnight to guard, total of 2 days pay $160 w/o OT. Btw I worked OT
A lot of things happened during this period of time working. Chit chat a lot but lucky the boss is not very strict, so we never got scolding. Guarding is so easy just sit there and sleep to get pay.
Highlights I remember when working.
-A guy look damm alike with Jun Yi
-My group-in-charge said he play netball HAHA
-Those metal look like lego -.-
-Slack all you can if possible
-Boss ask me go shopping
-The chio helpers with Hello Kitty car
-I almost scratched their car =.=
-The event was Recycling Day 0.0
-We play pranks at our boss and people in charge
-The feeling ON TOP OF THE LADDER was great
-Met up with my Maple friends also while working -.-
-Slack and late and talk as much as possible
and a lot a lot of things happened, although is a very very labour intensive job(screwing poles -.-) and tireding but I really value my hard earn money and enjoy the slacking process.
I know many would say it is stupid for us as student working such tough job or maybe others could think that there is other less effort more pay job they could find. But having such job experiences allow one to be thrifty, hardworking and not slacky; this is better than staying at home thinking that parents will support them forever or a easy high pay job will fall and going out spending money at not important things.
I look down on people still staying at home or worse going out enjoying and spending while thinking that no worries and problems as they got parent and a 'future' great job ahead. It is never too early to work and grow.
Sing Dollar value rise like rocket in JJ money minds. $160++ earning in 2days is not a lot thus must value it.
O ya, working in group really need teamwork and well-comunication skill and trust. I still remember the first day of work, we guys did not talk much but by giving eye contact we can get things well done. HAHA
