Wow, I actually spell it correct. This is not the main point.
The story begin... After school, I went to Woodland center to buy some food home because I am very hungry, I have been complaining since I am in school. Went to buy some biscuits and cookies. A Chinese lady was at the counter and a Malay man have some problem communicating with each other. At that point of time I was the only Chinese boy around, so the Malay man ask me to help translate for him. I did and I speak quite well, so proud of myself. Later I went to buy bubble tea, again the man asked for my help as this time he want to cancel his order. Alright I help again, and he treated me a cup of bubble tea although I wanted to pay. Never mind free bubble tea.
As I say, feel very proud of myself, manage to not stun in this kind of situation. After helping someone, you would definitely feel happy, this is true. But what made me the happiest was the free bubble tea. Now I understand the importance of learning 2 languages in Singapore or any part of the world as we use it to communicate and in Singapore English and your Mother Tongue plays a very important role that benefits us a lot in many ways.
Off-topic: In school, Ms Lim want to challenge me with a badminton match and I say " LAI LA "
